Having been totally grilled by our local authority education improvement manager and feeling like the size of a very tiny pebble, my secretary informed me that two out of the four candidates we had lined up for interview after half term have been snapped up by other schools. This has left us with one candidate who comes with not very good references and one hopeful.
This is the second of the two posts we have at present – the first post we were unsuccessful in filling earlier in the week. I have never seen the profession in such a state.
Oh we’ll, a week to recharge the batteries before hitting this one head on when we start back.
